A FRIENDSHIP AND PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN AFRICAN BAREFOOT SAFARIS AND EHLATHINI GAME LODGE

BOW HUNTING
Bow hunting enthusiasts are offered a unique opportunity to hunt on a property set up exclusively for bow hunting. Most hunting is done from strategically placed blinds providing nearly 100% quality opportunity to take targeted game, while attempting to spot and stalk will drop the success rate to around 10-15%.
RIFLE HUNTING
The bushveld offers an exhilarating hunting experience with a diverse range of game species. You never know what you might encounter, from the smallest of antelope the Steenbuck to one of the dangerous big game the Cape Buffalo.

THE CLIMATE
The Bushveld stretches across the North of South Africa and deep into Botswana, with its heart located in the Limpopo province, approximately a 3-4 hour drive from Johannesburg Airport. The region is characterized by knee to shoulder-high grasslands dotted with thorn trees and a diverse range of bushes and wildlife, including large Marula and Ironwood trees. The climate is generally warm, ranging from 70-90°F, with dry conditions, although temperatures cool down to 60-70°F from June to August. The area consists mainly of flat terrain, around 2000 ft above sea level, with a few mountains and hills. The Bushveld is a malaria-free zone, but it's still advisable to consult with your doctor.
